VOIP (Voice Over IP)

This works differently to a traditional PBX system…it uses data signals on the internet to communicate your voice signal.

And because of this the call charges are less and also the cost of the system is less (as it runs on a Microsoft Windows machine).

What’s wrong with traditional telephone systems?

With your current PBX system you probably have a box on the wall which runs your phone system, voicemail and directs the calls. You then have a bunch of cables running around your office plugged into handsets. Finally, you have expensive ISDN or analogue phone lines connecting your phones to the public phone network.

With this PBX system you can make basic calls and have voicemail. But this is were the costs start to creep up. If you want to do anything like the following then you will need to pay more for the privelige.
